MEMBERSHIP

Our membership fee for Balsall Heath members is nominal and doesn’t cover the cost of the newsletter, let alone everything else. In fact, unless you sign on for 5 years in advance, it doesn’t even cover the cost of checking who is up to date with the payments and who isn’t, and chasing the payments.

Similar organisations charge £10 a year for membership. We sometimes get £50 donations from people outside Birmingham who believe in what we are doing.

Alternatives to discuss at the Annual Members’ Meeting:

EITHER

  1. Free Balsall Heath membership. Ask all Balsall Heath members to donate as much as they can afford.

OR

  1. Everyone pays at the Annual Members’ Meeting.

OR

  1. We only accept fees for five years in advance.
