09/02/05 Jungle womens group
(Ruth) Today we hoped to continue work on our newly aquired allotment space but were rained off.Instead we planted some tomato seeds in Jungles heated propergator and Sara took some compost, seed cells and cabbage seeds home to start off for us. We hope to be up at our allotment next Thursday to carry on work and warmly welcome any women who would like to join us!For more information contact ruth@jngl.org.uk or ring on 0121 446 4798.

Today I went down to the Jungle room and Ruth and I put the world to rights while waiting to see if any other women would turn up.  It WAS a bit cold, some vigorous gardening would have warmed people up but we weren't surprised that they didn't venture out.  I bought some seed potatoes and onion sets and I'm going to 'chit' the potatoes tonight
